Shamrox Announce 2024 Coaching Staff

The Clarington Shamrox Lacrosse Club is pleased to announce their coaching staff for the 2024 Ontario Junior C Lacrosse League season.

I would like to introduce our new Head Coach, Ryan Ford.

His previous role was Head Coach of Clarington U22 Gaels in 2023. In addition to acting as the U22 Head Coach, Ryan was also an Assistant Coach with the CMLA U17 Gaels, who finished 4th in the province.
He is a player first coach who believes in utilizing each players key strengths to achieve team success while allowing players opportunities to expand their skills in new roles when desired. We would like to welcome Ryan to the Shamrox family and utilize his leadership skills to guide your Clarington Shamrox to a Merideth Cup Championship!

Welcome aboard Ryan!

I would like to also introduce our Defense Coach, Steve Bourden.

Steve joined our family as Defense Coach for the Oshawa Blue Knights U22 Jr. Men’s Field team this past season where he helped us capture the OJMFLL Junior ‘A’ Lacrosse legends Cup. Steve attended Onondaga College and Dowling University and majored in Physical Education. He plays for the Ennismore James Gang (Sr. B) and the Peterborough Timbermen in the ALL. His previous teams include the Durham Turfdogs (CLax) and Clarington Green Gaels (Jr. B). He also won the 2010 NJCAA and 2012 NCAA DII championships.

Welcome aboard Steve!

Lastly, I would like to introduce our Offense Coach, Justin Beach.

Last Season Justin was an Assistant Coach of the Halton Hills Bulldogs Jr. C Lacrosse team and is currently the Head Coach of the Jr. ALL Oshawa Outlaws and a Team Ontario U15 Field Assistant Coach.
